A few weeks ago, some local business owners and representatives were asked to take some time out of a day in September for the MDA Lock Up, putting participants "behind bars" for muscular dystrophy. In the meantime, we've been set with the task of raising "bail" up until the day of the event. We're taking cash donations in store, but if you'd prefer, they've also provided a link for online donations:
Any and all donations of any amount (even a dollar!) are appreciated, and go to resources and support for those dealing with muscular dystrophy, ALS, and associated diseases, as well as research for new treatments and with any luck, ultimately a cure.The Lock Up is happening on September 8th, so there's some time still to hit our given goal! And if you can't donate, we ask that you consider sharing this post to any social media sites you happen to have to help us maximize visibility.
